STAT-Site® M Hgb Hemoglobin Analyzer is calibrated using a CODE key which is included with each analyzer. The CODE key is specific to every box of test cards. Extra CODE keys can be ordered if required.
One kit includes 100 test cards (4 x 25 cards per container) and a lot specific CODE key. STAT-Site® M Hgb Hemoglobin Analyzer test cards can be stored at or below room temperature (28ºC/82ºF) until the expiration date. After opening, each container can be used up to 90 days provided that it is closed after each use.
The STAT-Site® M Hgb Hemoglobin Analyzer system is designed to provide values that are similar to those obtained using a hematology analyzer. It is intended to be used as a screening device for anemia much like a blood glucometer is used to screen for possible diabetes. Unexpected values should be confirmed by another method, such as a cell counter, in accordance with good clinical practice
